This Privacy Policy describes how Dodosoft ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects the information of users of the mobile and desktop applications we develop and publish, including (among others) MoaPOS, MofetaPOS and SaviaEdu ("the Apps").

This is a general policy applicable to all Dodosoft Apps available on Google Play and the App Store. Unless stated otherwise inside a specific App, this policy applies to that App.

1. Information we collect

Depending on the App you use, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account data: name, email, phone number and login credentials when creating or signing in to an account.
  • Business data: inventory, sales, billing, customer and other data the user enters to operate the App (applicable to management/POS apps).
  • Academic data: student information, courses, grades and communications (applicable to education apps).
  • Device information: model, operating system, unique identifiers and diagnostic data.
  • Usage data: in-app interactions, error logs and performance statistics.
  • Device permissions: camera (to scan barcodes/QR codes), storage (to attach or export files) and approximate location, only when required by the App's functionality and with your consent.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, operate and maintain the App.
  • Process transactions, generate reports and sync data across devices.
  • Provide technical support and respond to inquiries.
  • Detect, prevent and resolve technical or security issues.
  • Improve our products through aggregated usage analytics.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only with:

  • Infrastructure and service providers (hosting, databases, cloud storage) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
  • Payment processors, when the App includes billing or payment features.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Storage and security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls and backups) to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as the account is active or as needed to comply with legal, accounting or business obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time, unless we are legally required to retain it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent for certain device permissions, by writing to info@dodosoft.com.do.

7. Children's privacy

Our Apps are not directed at children under 13, except for specific features of education apps managed by authorized institutions, in which case data processing is limited to what is strictly necessary for the educational service and supervised by the responsible institution.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify relevant changes by updating the "last updated" date on this page.
